Stay on Target…

It’s week two and the research is finally coming together. I’m at that point where I’m really starting to understand all that I don’t know, and it’s a lot! I can see why my advisor was concerned that I’ve bitten off more than I can chew. I’m feeling daunted by how much there is to know about this project, and how to clearly explain those options to someone new to it like me. However I am getting better at stopping myself from doing non-project work during project work time, though it’s surprising how often I have to stop myself to ask “does this help address my most important task today?” Staying focused when you’re feeling overwhelmed is a challenge!
